In Japanese it translates to floating world, and it is here in my floating world that I endeavor to translate wood into something as perfect as a sunset and ethereal as a
full moon. My goal has always been to build a professional grade instrument.
By that I mean an instrument that is commanding in volume, tone, and sustain.
An instrument that has no dead notes or loss of volume and articulation in the upper registers. An instrument of simple but perfect appointments with the playability and craftsmanship that a ukulele of this stature demands. I believe excellence is achieved when knowledge is combined with the patience to apply it. Building hundreds of instruments over the last several decades has also lead me to put a part of me into each creation, It is my hope, that in your hands, together we have built the perfect ukulele.
